Our approach in three simple steps.

Introduction & blood test

We start by mapping out your health with an introduction consultation and blood tests. We look at your hormones, deficiencies, inflammation markers and other health factors that may be affecting your body.

Tailored treatment plan

Based on the results, we create a personalised treatment plan. This may include a combination of supplements, targeted nutrition, medication and lifestyle advice. Not a standard programme, but tailored care that fits your body and your stage of life.

3.

Active guidance

In the weeks that follow, we provide active guidance. You’ll be in contact with a consultant, receive interim check-ups and we’ll make adjustments where needed. This way, the treatment supports not only your hair, but also your overall health.

Hoe lang duurt het leefstijlbegeleiding traject?

You can’t build a healthy body in a week. On average, a lifestyle coaching programme at IKARIA Clinics lasts between three and twelve months. That may sound long, but your body needs time to adjust and heal. Together, we’ll choose the programme that best suits you.

Depending on your goals, we set clear priorities. Sometimes the focus is on weight loss and insulin sensitivity; other times it’s on increasing energy or finding more mental calm. Whatever your path, we guide you with care, structure and expertise.

You’ll have regular check-ins, medical support and clear insight into your progress. This keeps you motivated and helps you work step by step towards lasting results.

What is included in our lifestyle coaching?

Based on this, you will receive a personalised treatment plan tailored to your goals and needs. This plan includes advice on supplements, possible medication, targeted nutrition and lifestyle adjustments. In addition, you will be supported by a doctor and a coach who monitor your progress and help you maintain the changes. In short: everything you need to get not only your hair, but also your overall health back on track.

Why is this programme beneficial?

Most remedies for hair loss focus only on symptoms: a lotion here, a pill there. But hair loss is rarely an isolated problem. It is often a signal of something deeper, a hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiencies, or an immune system that is out of balance.

At IKARIA Clinics, we look at the underlying causes. Our treatments are based on medical expertise and scientifically proven methods. We measure, analyse and treat in a targeted way, so your body can recover from the inside out. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every body is different and so is every recovery journey.

What are the costs of this treatment?

We always start with an introductory consultation that includes a premium blood test. The cost for this is €199. During the intake for the lifestyle coaching programme, we’ll explain what’s possible. You’re investing in more than just your body — you’re investing in your health, confidence and vitality. And that’s worth it. After this, we’ll discuss which treatment plan best suits you. The second appointment is a full intake session, which also includes a body scan. The cost for this appointment is €295.

Prices depend on the intensity and duration of the programme. We’re always transparent about costs, so there are no surprises. Some parts of the programme may be partially reimbursed through supplementary health insurance, such as consultations or blood tests.

Medication and laboratory tests are covered by most health insurers. Some supplementary policies may also reimburse part of the consultation costs. You can check this with your insurer (doctor Ingrid Kuiper, BIG registration number: 19042361601). Consultations are not covered by the basic insurance. Payment is required immediately after your visit at the clinic. We accept debit and credit card payments.

The cost of the medically supervised weight management programme covers supervision by a medical consultant and prescriptions for the prescribed medication. Each element of our service is designed to provide you with the best possible care and support throughout your journey. The fee is based on the full programme and does not change if the content varies slightly.

Is dit programma intensief en zwaar?

We kijken naar jouw leven, jouw ritme en jouw energieniveau, en bouwen het traject stap voor stap op. Kleine, haalbare veranderingen zorgen vaak voor het grootste verschil op de lange termijn.

Onze begeleiding is gericht op volhouden, niet op forceren. Je hoeft niet ineens alles om te gooien, we kiezen samen wat nu het belangrijkste is, en pakken dat aan met rust, structuur en realistische doelen.

Can I combine this with other medication or treatments?

Yes. Our doctors tailor the treatment plan to your medical situation. If needed, we will consult with your GP or specialist.

Kan ik dit programma ook tijdens de overgang volgen?

Zeker. Juist in deze levensfase verandert er veel in je lichaam, zowel hormonaal als fysiek. De stofwisseling vertraagt, spiermassa neemt af, en hormonale schommelingen kunnen invloed hebben op je energie, stemming en gewicht. Dit is dus bij uitstek het moment waarop leefstijl het verschil kan maken. Denk aan voeding die je hormonen ondersteunt, beweging die past bij je belastbaarheid en slaap- en stressmanagement afgestemd op je levensfase. We hebben ervaring met vrouwen in de overgang én mannen boven de 50, en passen ons advies daar volledig op aan. Geen standaardaanpak, maar begeleiding die past bij jouw lijf en levensfase.

Will I need to take this medication for ever?

Not necessarily. Our aim is to support your body in such a way that, over time, you may need little or no further assistance. In some cases, supplements or maintenance may still be required, but we will decide this together.
